Amalienborg Slot

This palace is rather odd because it consists of four buildings around a large central square. There are no gardens or grounds really, as other building surround it. The queen lives here and we arrived in time to see the changing of the guard. The changing of the guard was hilarious, more because of the antics of the tourists trying to get a good shot than anything else. The guards just lined up and then seemed to be in a staring contest for a good twenty minutes, because they just stood there, doing nothing. We gave up after two minutes and walked on to Marmorkirken. This church has a lovely dome that reminded me of St. Paul's in London. The church was actually very small, really only consisting of the single dome and not much else.
