Tokyo National Museum in Ueno Park

Sunday morning we visited the Tokyo National Museum in Ueno Park. We saw Jomon (pre-3rd century BC) sculptures, armor and swords from the warring states periods, kimono from the Edo period, and even a few works of art from the 18 and 19 hundreds. It was quiet since we arrived when it opened, though it started getting busy when we left. It didn't take us very long to get through the main hall and the archealogical hall. After the museum, we headed out into Ueno Park.
