Moose Sightings

Who knew? Apparently mooses are quite popular in Scandinavia. I thought at first that the ads and shop signs were of reindeer, but when we got to Malmö, it was clear that it was no moosunderstanding. We didn't actually meet any mooses, but found ample evidence of moose popularity - especially in Swedish souvenir shops.

Google facts: The Swedish moose is the same genus and species as the North American moose, although the European often call them elk (what we call an elk is actually a 'red deer' to the Europeans.)
