Our trip to London was more difficult than it needed to be. Our plane was briefly delayed due to a computer problem in the cockpit, but we ended up landing 15 minutes early anyway. Then we discovered that the Heathrow connection to the Underground was closed, so we had to take the Heathrow Express train instead, plus two different Underground lines to get to our hotel (the underground from the airport would've gone straight there!) :P And, the Circle Line (which seemed to go everywhere we wanted to go) was shut down for the weekend, so we ended up having to take 2-3 different Underground lines to go somewhere that normally would've taken 1 line.Other than that, we got real lucky with the weather. Even though August is supposed to be a rainy month, it was really sunny today and maybe 70 degrees.
