Buckingham Palace

Emily's guidebook informed us that Buckingham Palace held daily tours of the state rooms but only during the months of August and September, so we headed there first. We got to see Queen Elizabeth's throne room, dining room, ball room, and various portrait galleries. They had many of the insignia such as the garter for the Order of the Garter laid out for us to see as well as the sword that Queen Elizabeth uses to knight people. Everything was beautiful. We weren't allowed to take pictures inside, so you'll have to use your imagination - everything was incredibly ornate. For some reason, her bedroom, bathroom, exercise room, TV room, and swimming pool were off limits. :)
